It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola King of Mission, Texas, who passed away on July 13, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Calvin; her parent Leara; her stepfather Willie Brown (Robert); and her siblings, Curtis, Willie James, Margaret, Ruby and Laverne.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Calvin King; her children, Brenda and Kevin; her brothers, Sammy and Tommy Williams of New Mexico; her sister-in-law Ophelia Lewis; and her nephews, Robert, Jessie and Charles.
Viola served in many ministries at Bon Air Baptist Church having serve 49 years on the senior usher board, she served as President of Mission, Corresponding Secretary of the Usher Board and chair of the Golden Ages Outreach Ministry, she enjoyed the Saturday Morning Sunday school Conference calls during Covid-19.
