He was predeceased by: his former wife Maria Angelita Betancourt Duran; his parents, Santiago and Refugia; and his brother Joe Garza. He is survived by: his children, Veronica Rubio (Rudy), Dr. Jaime Betancourt Duran (Arcenia) and Venessa Sloan; his grandchildren, Adrian Duran Rubio (Clarissa), Andrew Duran Rubio (Marlene), Amanda Celeste Leist (Mason) and Anna Maria Rubio; his children, Gabriela Alexandra McCall (Hunter), Adriana Sofia Duran, Jordan Christopher Sloan, Cameron Jacob Sloan, Logan Mendoza Duran and Katelyn Duran; his great grandchildren, Sofia, Ezequiel, Ezra and Jude Santiago; and his siblings, David Duran (Irma), Paula Sauceda, Lupita Cano (Artemio), Connie Tuggle, Aurora Garza (Larry) and Teresa Longoria. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and the great love of his life.
