He is survived by: his significant other Sharalan Hudgens; his children, Teresa Fink (Mike) of Eldridge, Sheila Volrath (Jay) of DeWitt, Jennifer Collins (Mat) of Shawnee, KS and Mark Keppy (Marcelo) of Chicago, IL.; his stepchildren, Brenda Page (Robert) of Woodstock, Frank Welte (Suzanne) of New Berlin, WI, Caleb Welte of Davenport and Amanda Welte of Davenport; his stepgrandchildren, Megan Firrell, Rachel Houseal, Madelyn Elliott, Drew Volrath, Karlee Riedesel, Brooke Collins, Travis Collins, Hayden Page, Myra Page, Liam Welte and Eva Welte; his brothers, Robert Keppy (Maureen) of Weslaco, TX and Steven Keppy (Sharon) of Jefferson, WI; his sister-in-law Lois Keppy of Davenport; and his stepsiblings, Pat Reese of Eldridge and Gary Rohwer (Connie) of Ft Myers, FL..

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory (838 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House and UsToo (local support for the fight against prostate cancer).
