He was predeceased by: his son Dennis Wayne Griffin; his brother Donald Allen Griffin (Rosario Griffin); his parents, George Allen Griffin and Jane Elizabeth Anderson Griffin; his sisters, Dorothy Bachert (Earl Bachert) and Martha Lanzel; and his brother-in-law Villar (Paulette).
He is survived by: his wife Nilda Griffin; his daughter Sandra Sanchez (Carlos Sanchez); his grandchildren, Alejandro Luis Sanchez, Armand Antonio Sanchez and Aviana Elizabeth Sanchez; and also, Pepe, Woody and Luna.
The military honors was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery (2520 Inspiration Rd, Mission, TX 78572).
