It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricardo Homero Garcia (Mission, Texas), who passed away on April 20, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Felipe Garcia; his siblings, Teresa "Teresita" Josefina Garcia, Lucy Thelma Havice of Austin and Luis Felipe Garcia of Mission; his siblings-in-law, Frances G. Garcia of McAllen and Roberto Gonzalez of Mission; his nephew Hollywood (Bob Havice); his brother-in-law James A. Havice of Austin; and his mother Lucy Gomez Garcia of Mission.
He is survived by: his brother Omar C. Garcia, Sr. of McAllen; his nieces and nephews, Omar C. Garcia, Jr. (Cheryl) of Katy, Yvonne C. Glosch (Paul) of Katy, Thelma I. Balli of McAllen, Felipe L. (Melissa) of Houston, Laura C. Garcia of McAllen, Philip S. Havice (Roxana) of New Braunfels and Michael J. Havice (Judy) of Whitefish Bay; and his pet Sophia. He is also survived by many great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
