With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ramon Martinez (Mission, Texas), who passed away on March 27, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Maria and Amelia; and his siblings, Jose Maria Jr., Norma, Maria, Carmen and Rodolfo Martinez.
He is survived by: his wife Margarita; his daughters, Anabel Martinez and Crystal Guajardo; his grandsons, Austin, Alexander Guajardo and Julian Pompa; and his siblings, Robert, Sylvia, Ricardo, Gloria, Elizabeth, Irene, Salvador and Jessica.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Brown Family Funeral Home (701 E Interstate Hwy 2, Mission, TX 78572). A rosary was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (2201 Martin Ave, McAllen, TX 78504). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery (2520 Inspiration Rd, Mission, TX 78572).
