He is survived by: his wife Maria Ricarda Leal; his children, Norberto Leal III, Noe Leal and Maribel Leal; his stepdaughters, Alma Martinez and Nancy Bazan; and his sisters, Anita L. Flores and Eva Garcia. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
