She was predeceased by: her daughter Sylvia Marie Avendaño; her parents, Natividad Guerra and Maria Rodrigues Guerra; and her siblings, Bertha B. Cordova, Jesusita Guerra, Ramiro, Ricardo and Arnoldo Guerra.
She is survived by: her husband Jose A. Avendaño; her sons, Jose A. Avendaño, Jr. (Maria Ellena) and Hector Avendaño; her brother Alejandro Guerra (Sue); and her grandsons, Jeromy J. Avendaño of Mission, Abel Avendaño (Griselda Avendaño) of Houston, Jesiah D. Avendaño, Adric A. Avendaño and Lahnay A. Avendaño of Houston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
