He was predeceased by: his wife Librada Ortega; his siblings, Jose Portillo and Maria Elena Portillo; and his daughter Magdalena Portillo. He is survived by: his children, Gloria Ortega, Ramon Angel Portillo, Carmen Luz Portillo, Belem Portillo, Eva Portillo, Javier Portillo and Jose Alfredo Portillo; and his brother Rito Portillo. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Due to the current climate surrounding COVID, visitors are asked to wear a facemask/covering.
