Though Minerva Riojas may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Minerva Riojas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adan Riojas and Elena Salinas. She is survived by: her significant other David Perez; her children, Richard Gutierrez, Mario Gutierrez, Veronica Gutierrez (Rodney) and Crystal Perez; and her siblings, Oscar Riojas (Gerry) and Yolanda Franco. She is also survived by numerous grand children and great- grand children.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Virgil Wilson Mortuary- Mission Tx (2200 N Conway Ave, Mission, TX 78572). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (620 N Dunlap Ave, Mission, TX 78572).
