She was predeceased by: her husband Pedro Ramirez; and her parents, Lucio Cerda and Andrea Garcia. She is survived by: her children, Noe Ramirez, Noel Ramirez, Maria Graciela Garcia of Jesus Ramirez, Noemi Bales (Jim), Norma Parks (Kent), Andrea Gonzalez (Leonel) and San Juanita Pitts (Houston); her siblings, Alvara Mendoza and Hermilo Cerda; and also Anthony Ramirez. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren along with countless nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Red Chapel (701 E Eisenhower St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1196 W Main St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the El Arroyo Cemetery (Los Vela Cemetery) (80 Los Velas Rd, Rio Grande City, TX 78582).
