She was predeceased by: her parent Damacio Ortiz; and her siblings, Yolanda Villarreal (Pedro), Jose Guzman and David Ortiz (Victoria). She is survived by: her husband Jose Guadalupe Esparza; her grandchildren, Lizette Muniz, Jose Antonio Esparza Jr., Angelica Esparza, Robert Esparza, Krystal Esparza, Kathy Pawelek, Bebelyn Gonzalez and Carlo Hinojosa; and her cousins, Eva Ornelas and Joe Garcia. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
After our aunt's passing, she would continue to call our uncle until her Alzheimer's affected her from doing so.
