He is survived by: his wife Barbara Berger; his children, Michelle Samford (Michael) of Victoria and Bradley Schmidt (Shannon) of Victoria; his daughter-in-law Theresa Reid; his brother-in-law Nick Greco; his grandchildren, Kacie Balfanz (Travis), Scheri Schmidt, Ricky Schmidt (Michelle), John Bradley Schmidt, Elizabeth Cote (Ben), Abigail Samford, Colten Davidson, Madison Samford, Jacob Evans, Jordyn Vahalik (Jonathan), Joshua Zatopek and Jayce Hermes; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Pryce Mireles, Easton, Keely, Paityn Balfanz, Avery and Waylon Cote. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
