She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Strocher and Burnis Strocher (Fogerson); and her sister Marilynn Cooper of Sue's Memory. She is survived by: her husband Jim Barton; her daughters, Tamisha Newsham (Kevin) of Mission, TX and Deanna Chilton (Rob) of Fishers, IN; her grandson Timothy Newsham of San Antonio, TX; her children, Corey Newsham of Altamont, IL, Halle and Hannah Chilton of Fishers, IN; her sisters, Helen Ragsdale (Bob) of Manchester, TN and Teri Hopkins of Decatur, IL; and her great grandchildren, Lexi and Brody Newsham of Illinois. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in name to The Humane Society or to any no-kill animal shelter.
