He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vicente Reyna and Rita Treviño; his daughters, Norma Fuentes (Teofilo Jr.), Mary Lou Portales (David), Rita Vela (Joe) and Raquel Reyna (Marcos Martinez); and his siblings, Socorro Salazar, Remijio Reyna, Rogelio Reyna, Rosalinda Del Bosque, Delia Nava, Vicente Reyna Jr., Ramiro Reyna, Gloria Garza, Olga Ayala and Jose Guadalupe. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren, and numerous family, and friends.
