He is survived by: his wife Ernestina Gutierrez Ponce; his children, Juanita Sanchez, Manuel Ponce, Gloria Ochoa, Socorro Aguirre, Maria Santillan, Adela Ponce, Mariam Duran, America Ponce and Juan Peña; and his sister Inez Gonzalez. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 84 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and 3 great great great grandchildren.
