He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrique Garza and Nora Delia Alanis; his grandchildren, Abiel Garcia, Amaya Garica and Rosita Garza; and his brother Gerardo Garza.
He is survived by: his children, Daisy Mayela Garcia (Jose), Fernando Garza (Brenda) and Brenda J. Alanis (Audiel); his grandchildren, Aaron, Allen, Axel, Alonzo Garcia, Fernando, Santiago, Alejandro Garza, Audiel and Aldo Alanis; and his siblings, San Juanita Garza, Estela Garza, Susana Garza and Raul Garza.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Virgil Wilson Mortuary- Mission Tx (2200 N Conway Ave, Mission, TX 78572). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
