He is survived by: his wife Elva Lozano Guzman; his daughters, Janella Forbes and Alison Guzman; his stepdaughter Ana; his siblings, Hilario Guzman, Jose Inez Guzman, Josefa Guzman, Maria Guzman, Celia Gonzalez, Miguel Guzman Jr., Alma Rosa Cruz, Alicia Garcia, Noelia Hernandez and Yolanda Rojas; and his granddaughter Heather Forbes. He is also survived by family and close friends.
