He was predeceased by: his parents, Pilar Garza and Carolina Garza; his son Eduardo Garza Jr.; and his siblings, Elena and Enrique Garza.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Rita Garza; his sons, Omar Garza (Belinda) and Randy Lee Garza (Miranda); his daughter-in-law Gloria Garza; his grandchildren, Nicholas Darren Garza, Analisa Garza, Monalisa Garza, Gabriel James Garza, Fidel Garza and Melysa Marie Garza; and his siblings, Esther, Eloisa, Evangelina, Edelmira and Esteban.
