He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Guadalupe Castro; his daughter Virginia Castro Bernal; and his sisters, Trinidad and Leonor. He is survived by: his children, Maria Guadalupe Robles (Robert), Leticia, Angeles Ramirez, Connie Garza (Juan), Ricardo Castro Jr. (Diana), Alejandro Castro (Blanca), Fernando Castro (Delia) and Antonio Castro (Aida); and his siblings, Bonifacio, Amanda, Anita, Dolores and Isabel. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
