She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Juan Alvarez and Guadalupe Alavarado Alvarez; her husband Carlos Peña; her great-nephew Josh; her great-nieces, Celeste and Grace Alvarez; and her grandchildren, Eric, Nolan and Novah Peña.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the RIC Brown Family Funeral Home (621 E Griffin Pkwy, Mission, TX 78572). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery (3601-3611 N Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78573).
