He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcelino Longoria and Guadalupe Longoria (Villarreal); and his siblings, Domingo Longoria and Margarita Trevino. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Longoria; his children, Laura Perez (Nicer), Alfonso Longoria (Catherine), Jean Longoria, Ray Saenz (Kelly) and Lisa Nega (Donald); his great grandchildren, Sophia, Joseph, Jacob, Lauren, Audrey, Andrew, Justin, Jeremy, Kaylee and Jenna; and his siblings, Arturo Longoria, Gloria Gonzalez, Irma Guzman and Clarinda Longoria.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Legacy Chapels (4610 S Jackson Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery (2520 Inspiration Rd, Mission, TX 78572).
After returning from military service, Mr. Longoria made significant contributions to the community through his entrepreneurial spirit.
