He is survived by: his children, Pearla Michelle Quintanilla and Abel Quintanilla, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jaciel Garcia and Michael Julian Garcia; and his siblings, Rosa Maria Jaques (Martin) of Minnesota, Graciela Pena (Abelardo) of Pharr, Celia Medrano (Manuel) of Zapata, Lydia Serna (Raul) of Zapata, Irma Vargas of Minnesota, Gloria Quintanilla of Mission, Maria Isabel Cano (Cesar) of Minnesota, Tiburcio Quintanilla Jr. (Doris), Jose Santos Quintanilla (Lydia), Hector Quintanilla (Leticia), Oscar Quintanilla (Maria Lily Moncivais), Sergio Quintanilla and Cruz Quintanilla (Lucero). He is also survived by numerous nephews & nieces and other family members and friends.
