He was predeceased by: his sister Ouida Hise; and his parents-in-law, Ray Kincaid and Nannie Belle Kincaid. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Cyndi (Leon Bauerle) of Dilley, Ron (Alison Hammit) of Sugar Land and Kerry (Mara Hammit) of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Brian (Brandi Bauerle), Amber (Matt Donelson), Austen Hammit, Clint Hammit and Taylor Hammit; his great grandchildren, Shyanne, McKenzie, Hope, Ryan and Luke; and his brothers, Melvin Hammit of Stephenville and Freddy (Audean Hammit) of Granbury. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The Hammit family wishes expression of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the First Baptist Church of Stephenville, or the donor's favorite charity.
