He is survived by: his children, Glenna K. Petters (Mike), Kathy LeJeune (Thomas), Gary Shorter (Karen), David Michael Shorter (Maritza) and Stephen Shorter. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and other extended family.
