He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Ardine Petrea; his wife Jo Ann Sayers Petrea; his sister Jeanette Mayo; his grandson Ronald Lee Holland; and his son-in-law Sam Reeves.

He is survived by: his sister Paula King; his daughters, Brenda Petrea Reeves of Burleson, Doris Petrea Holland of Mineola and Carol Petrea Phillips (Dale) of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Derek Reeves (Audra) of Colorado, Brianna Reeves Parkhill (Michell) of Burleson, Sarah Arden Reeves of Burleson, Bo Holland (Stacy Young) of Mineola, Robert Holland (Calyn) of Mineola, Logan Huffman of Austin, Jacob Huffman of Cleburne and Gina Holland of Grand Saline; and his great grandchildren, Shyanna Reeves, Braydon Cox, Elise Farmer, Bhtoschi Holland, Jr. (Brooklyn), Brandon Holland, Bryce Holland, Kale Holland, Madison Holland, Carter Holland and Lily Holland.
