He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Leo and Linda Choate (Graves); and his grandson Cody. He is survived by: his wife Elva Naomi Smith; his children, Amber Hawkins (Billy), Krystal Choate (Rob), Matthew Choate (Amanda) and Kasey Choate (Angela); his grandchildren, Hailee, Katelynn, Chole, Hannah, Malia, Kolton, Destiny, Samual and Brittany; and his siblings, Natalie Choate (Tracey Choate) and Charles Choate. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
