He was predeceased by: his wife Irma Aline Yager; his parents, John R. Yager and Alva Cartwright; his siblings, BillyPaul Yager and Susan Van Deilen; and his sons, Robert Lee Yager, Jr. (Bobby) and Ronny Keith Yager.
He is survived by: his brother Les Yager; his children, Sharon Yager Douglas and Ricky Yager; his grandchildren, Amy Douglas Metcalf and Clayton Douglas; and his great grandchildren, Ellie Metcalf, Alayna Douglas and Alexis Douglas.
