He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Hampton and Mozelle Tucker Dawson; his siblings, Dewey Dawson, Jr. and Mary Ann Dawson; and his grandson Randy LeBus.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dawson of Mineola; his children, Wade Murdock (Joanie) of Golden and Suzie LeBus (Jack) of Longview; his siblings, Carroll Dawson (Sharon) of Dallas and Linda Earnheart of Yantis; and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Kasie, Kalei, Sarah, Angela and John. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; three nephews; one niece; and numerous other relatives and friends.
