She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Taylor and LaVerne Tommie Hamm Griggs; her husband Jessie Brummett; her great great grandchild Hallie Aleece Brady; her sister Sara Dowdle; and her nephew Jay Whatley.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg Brummett (Terrie) of Bedford and Kent Brummett (Sandra) of Henderson; her grandchildren, Alicia Brady (Tim), Amanda Watson, Adam Brummett (Mindy) and Jeffrey Brummett (Emily); her great grandchildren, Chloe, Faith, Sadie, Sophie, Hudson and Theo; her great great grandchildren, Hoyt, Greenleigh and Ferrin; and her brother-in-law James Dowdle. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
