He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Ghearing and Lucille Ghearing; his wife Winifred; and his siblings, George Ghearing, John Ghearing, Joe Ghearing, Pat Lee, Roberta Handley and Rose Prinzbach.
He is survived by: his son Larry Lee Ghearing (Kim) of Quitman, TX; his stepgranddaughter Kristine Samples (Mikie) of Alba, TX; his stepgreat-grandsons, Tucker and Easton; and his siblings, Shirley Davis and Leonard Ghearing (Carol).
