John Vernon Lambert Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Vernon Lambert of Mineola, Texas, who passed away on February 12, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lossie Lambert and Bessie Lambert; and his daughter Lori Unfried. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lambert; his children, John A. Lambert, James T. Mortensen, Robert Mortensen, William Hartwell, Shirley Lambert, Terri Soto (Oscar) and Shelly Long (Mitchel); and his brother Edwin Lambert. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church of Mineola (209 N Pacific St, Mineola, TX 75773). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dallas Forth Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
