She was predeceased by: her parents, R. B. Recer and Ocie Monk Recer; her husband Larry Wilburn; her sister Wanda Faye Owen Chapman; her son Chris Bailey; and her great grandchild Lena Joyce Thomas.
She is survived by: her son Kevin Bailey; and her stepdaughters, Shanna Wilkinson, Angie Galyean and Sharla Ringgold. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
