It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Gay Scott (Mineola, Texas), who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, L. B. Oxford and Verna LaRue Oxford; and her brother Charles Gaylor Oxford. She is survived by: her husband Bill E. Scott; her daughters, Gayla Scott Hale (John) and Sheri Scott Phillips (Keith); her grandsons, JJ Hale (Haydee Soliman) and Scott Hale (Shiloah Hale); her great grandchildren, Jackson Hale and Zoe Hale; and her sisters, LaVell Willis and Pam Joiner.
Memorial service will be held at a later date due to holidays and Covid.
In lieu of flowers, family ask donations to be made to Mineola Lions Club for there kindness to the residents of Wood Memorial Nursing Home.
