He is survived by: his father Billy Brown Barber; his wife Kay Barber of Mineola; his daughters, Koni Riley (Keith) of Mineola and Kristi Hipke of Bullard; his brother David Barber (Angela) of Canton; his grandchildren, Kapri Riley, Keilee Riley, Kozbie Riley-Kalenak (Gage), Savannah Hipke and Charleston Hipke; his nieces, Charly Dannis and Jillian Barber-Day; and his nephew Dutch Dannis.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Beaty Funeral Home (5320 TX-37, Mineola, TX 75773). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church - Mineola (204 N Johnson St, Mineola, TX 75773). A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (5320 TX-37, Mineola, TX 75773).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Gideons International in his honor.
