He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis D. Armstrong and Mary Nann Armstrong (Horton); and his son Curtis Lee Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Johnson Armstrong; his son Jack Armstrong; his brothers, Randall Dale Armstrong (Sharon) and Darryl L. Armstrong (Linda); his siblings-in-law, Terry Smith and Joe Smith; and his grandchildren, Timothy, Kelly, Katherine and Jacob. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Harvest Acres Baptist Church (1062 W State Loop 564, Mineola, TX 75773). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Cedar Memorial Gardens (Mineola, TX 75773).
