She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalton Vance Dorris and Zelma Inez Smith; her husband Kenneth Gordon Ross Jr.; her daughter Rebecca Josephine Ross; her brother Dalton Darrell Dorris; her daughter Linda Ross Bench; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Rene Bench and Cole McFarland Shook.

She is survived by: her sister Joy Dorris McGehee of Bruce, MS; her children, Kenneth Gordon Ross III (Mary Lou) of Mineola, TX, Steve Everett Ross (Belinda Cirili Ross) of Coldwater, MS and Twila Ross Gerhauser of Dallas, TX; and her grandchildren, Tammy Vaughn, Kendra Ross Richins, Gordon Ross (Tami), Kelly Shook Lautenslager (Brian), Kyle Shook (Stefanie), Garrett Gerhauser and Taylor Gerhauser. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and 7 nieces and nephews.
