She is survived by: her husband David Thurman; her mother Norma McBride Barnhart; her children, Norman Barnhart (Julie), Dale Caston, Jesse Caston, Jason Caston (Stefanie), Renee'Childers and Brenda Thurman; and her sisters, Glenda Hayes (Don), Susan Chunn (Buddy) and Tina Parker (Randy). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beaty Funeral Home (5320 TX-37, Mineola, TX 75773). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
