He was predeceased by: his parent Odell Nichols; his sister Evelyn Dail; and his daughter LaTonja Harris. He is survived by: his wife Paulette Nichols of Mineola, Texas; his children, Dana Palmer of Mineola, Sherri Spruill (Scott) of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Terry Nichols (Michael); and his brother Doug Nichols (Pam) of Grand Saline, Texas. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
