She is survived by: her husband Taurino Ortega; her children, Javier Ortega (Roma), Rolando Ortega (Celia), Marisol Ortega, Erica Quinones (Mario) and Dora Vigueras (Sergio); her grandchildren, Gabriel Paredes, Lina Ortega, Alicia Paredes, Araceli Ortega, Rogelio O. Delapaz, Felipe Reyes, Rolando Ortega, Jose Reyes, David Reyes, Steven Reyes, Daniel Delapaz, Mia Delapaz and Jonathan Quinones; and her sisters, Epifania Pineda and Marcelinas Pineda.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (203 Meadowbrook Dr, Mineola, TX 75773). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at the Roselawn Memorial Garden (5320 TX-37, Mineola, TX 75773).
