He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ray Tippie and Helen Faye Lynn (Tippie); his sister Sherry Rusinovich; his siblings-in-law, Candy Tippie and Bob Clay; and his grandson Jason Dwight Burns.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Tippie, Keith Ellis, Charles Tippie, II (Wendi Tippie) and Shelly Tippie; his grandchildren, Ethan Burns (Adalyn Burns), Mason Burns (Karleigh Burns), Kylee Miller, Tippie, III, Briana Pena, Levi Tippie, Kara Burns, Kalyn Burns and Beau Tippie; his great grandchildren, Bodie Burns, Dallas Burns and Hilton Burns; and his siblings, Charles DeWayne Tippie, Janis Clay, Regina (Mike Holland) and Samantha Hurd.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calendar First Baptist Church of Millsap (209 Locust Rd, Millsap, TX 76066).
In lieu of flowers, Dwight's family kindly requests donations to assist with funeral expenses.
