She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Contreras Martinez and Baldomera Guzman Camacho of Contreras; her husband Luis Torres; and her siblings, Martin Contreras and Ana-Maria Contreras.

She is survived by: her children, Jose Luis Torres (Gloria), Eduardo Torres (Cristina), Hugo Torres (Karen), Gustavo Torres (Guy), Ana Maria Martinez (Salvador) and Alma Rosa Torres; her grandchildren, Nazareth, Karla, Hugo, Valeria, Victoria, Joseph, Elizabeth, Christian, Ivan, Janna, Lukas and Jacqueline; her great grandchildren, Alondra, Dario, Valentina, Gaia, Italia, London, Roselin, Hugo Jr., Annalise Violet, Elena, Nzaki, Kunhe, Alexander and Analia; and her siblings, Diego and Angeles.
