He is survived by: his wife Shelia Kirk; his sisters, Debra Ruth and Sue Bjorklund; his uncle John; his aunt Linda Chism; and his children, James Kirk Jr. (Brantley), Kelly Pouncy, Haven Fitts (Joshua), Stormy Long (Tanner) and Dacota Wylie (Sean). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren.
