He was predeceased by: his parents, A. T. "Slim" and Mary Bess Granzin; his parents-in-law, Louis and Lucy Cmerek; his brother-in-law Clarence Kellermeier; and his aunt Eddye "McGuire" Dreyer Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Granzin; his daughters, Shelly Granzin and Rikki Granzin; his grandchildren, Megan, Madie-Claire and Gunner McAda; his brother Stacy Granzin (Lynn); his nieces and nephews, Kelly Granzin (Kim), Larry Granzin (Michele), Heather Granzin and Alison Bryan (Len); his brother-in-law Eugene Cmerek (Joyce); his niece Vickie (Jeff Bailey); his nephew Darrell Cmerek (Judy); his sister-in-law Marjorie Kellermeier; and his nieces and nephews, Sammy Kellermeier (Charlotte) and Lonnie Kellermeier (Melissa).
