He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Maze; his son Jimmie Maze, Jr.; his siblings, Marie Beck and Tommy Maze; and his granddaughter Amy Lee McAdoo.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret Smitherman of Arab, Alabama; his son Dale; his daughter-in-law April Maze of Milano, Texas; his daughters, Lisa Shipman of Troy, Alabama and Caroline; and his son-in-law Curtis McAdoo of Temple, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
