He was predeceased by: his wife Laverne Jacks Roberts; his son Johnny Roberts; his parents, John Roberts and Ethel Roberts; and his siblings, Johnnie Mae Williams of North Carolina, Vernice Roberts (Big Red) of Bronson, Archie Roberts of Jasper, Ronald Roberts of Eagle Lake and Leon Roberts of Oklahoma.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Alma Roberts of Hemphill. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
