He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Edward and Ola Boyett; his wife Gwendolyn Walton Boyett; and his children, Troy Michael "Micky" Boyett, Bill Boyett, Steven Boyett, Nathan Boyett and Debbie Boyett.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Boyett of San Augustine, Donny Boyett, Tammy, James Boyett of Hemphill, Jackie Boyett of Livingston, Roy David Boyett of Huntington, Clay Boyett of Gravel Hill, Johnny Paul Boyett, Shannon of Milam, Carolyn Brazil (Robert), Ann Boyett of Hemphill, Pam Perez (Mary Byrd) of China, TX and Alan of China. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
