She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Lacy and Rosie Davis Lacy; her husband Maurice Dickerson; her son Mervin Dickerson; her great grandchild Hunter Simpson; and her siblings, George Lacy, Jack Lacy, Johnnie Lacy May, Jane Lacy Crouch, Bertie Lacy McBride and Jean Lacy Clamon.
She is survived by: her sons, Micheal Dickerson of Milam and Mark Dickerson (Vickie) of Vidor; her siblings, W. D. Lacy of Norwood Community and Sybil Lacy Hutto of Doucette; her grandsons, Scott Simpson (Heidi) of Pasadena and Cory Simpson (Loni) of Walker, Louisiana; her great grandchildren, Gunnar, Hannah "JoBob Marie", Vador and Hazel Simpson; and her friend Georgia Brown of Hemphill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
