He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cummings and Willie Lewis Cummings; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Cummings and James Earl Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Cummings of Milam, Texas; his children, John Reginald Cummings of Milam, Texas and Kelley Marie Brady (Patrick) of Fulshear, Texas; his siblings, Robert Dale Cummings of Buna, Texas, Frances Bland (Frank) of Buna and Deon Thornton of Buna, Texas; and his grandchildren, Meagan, Macy and Ainsley.
In lieu of flowers, the family of John Thomas Cummings would like to request donations to an organization whose purpose is to conserve and oversee the lakes John loved to fish in as well as the land he hunted on his entire life – the Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation (TPWF).
