We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2023, at the age of 87, Joe Best of Milam, Texas, born in Tyler, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fletcher Best and Juanita Best; his wife Gwendolyn Best; and his daughter Sandra Jo Heller. He is survived by: his son Randall Best of Milam, Texas; his sister-in-law Wanda Hunt of Etoile, Texas; his siblings, Reverend James Best of Thomasville, Alabama and Annie Elise Combs of Beaumont; his grandsons, Brock Douglas Poole and Zachary Joseph Poole; and his great grandchild Robert Poole. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
